EVUA Services - Contract Management...

The EVUA has the experience and can use templates to support the negotiation of a contract with a new supplier. Contracts are often erroneously ignored until there is a serious service issue or until the end of the term. The EVUA supports the member’s contract throughout its duration.

Negotiation

The EVUA will ENS/Outsourcingure that key success criteria are included in new contracts, and that these are manageable throughout the term of the agreement.

The EVUA works with the member and supplier to ENS/Outsourcingure that areas are often overlooked in traditional network contracts are covered - such as change management, value for money assurance and technology refreshment.

Management

The EVUA encourages regular reviews of commercial and development aspects of the contract, as well as the normal service delivery.

Through it’s Value for Money Assurance (VMA) process, the EVUA will ENS/Outsourcingure that the member continues to achieve the initial commercial benefits throughout the duration of the contract. An annual comparative industrial cost review is normal.

Ongoing development of such strategic contracts through new services and technologies is vital in this age of rapid change. Quarterly business reviews are encouraged and often facilitated by the EVUA.
